Pfizer and BioNTech said Tuesday that they would ask the Foodstuff and Drug Administration (Fda) to authorize a booster dose of their coronavirus vaccine for emergency use in balanced kids ages 5 to 11. 

The vaccine makers stated new info reveals young children in that age group could reward from a further shot.
